Not your typical roast beef!
Gather up the following:
1 (2 lb) boneless chuck roast
5 pepperocini peppers
1 package Au Jus gravy
1 package ranch dressing mix
1 stick of butter

Here is a picture of the roast I used.
Place the roast at the bottom of your slow cooker. No braising, no oil, etc. Just the roast.
Sprinkle the ranch mix over the whole roast.
Now sprinkle the Au Jus mix on top of the ranch. Don't touch it!!! I know it is bugging you like it drove me crazy!
Place the stick of butter on top of the pile, then place the peppers around the butter. Cover the slow cooker with the lid. Now don't touch it for about 5-6 hours... This is the hardest part, especially if you are like me (working from home). Your house will smell Ah-Mazing!!!!
I serve over Mom's Mashers with corn & carrots, or some other veggies. :)
