Commissioned Furniture Pieces

This next set of photos shows the before and after of a refurbish project we were hired for by a previous employer of mine. The item was her 3-piece bedroom vanity, including a table with a glass enclosure needing major repair and new glass as well as a LOT of sanding all over, a mirror with very fine detail work, and a small stool that needed to be re-upholstered. She provided the fabric and chose the finishes for the project and we provided the labor. All in all, we spent roughly 20 hours on this project without including the planning. We were all very pleased with the results!

Before - Please excuse the poor photoshop job, I was trying to crop out all of the junk in our workshop. :/
Picture
This it the eagle-eye view of the once-velvet-floored, then wax-covered glass/mirror enclosure.

This is just a close-up to show the detail in the mirror frame.

This is how it looked when we were through with it. Complete transformation, right?

The angle shows you the mirror detail.
Here is the start of some photography props I created for a local photographer upon request. The chairs were made from regular dining chairs and intended for use with small children, as shown. She did request that they be finished roughly so they would have a VERY rustic and worn appearance, as if they had been "pulled from a 100-year-old barn" The wooden bed was made from pallet wood to be used with infants and newborns but can also be used as a toy/doll bed for play.

Before - both started looking like this.

This one came out to be a light aqua color.
